What a fantastic Halloween weekend we had!

A big thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun, making such a great effort with themed attire and decorations for our Halloween Jacob’s Join. It was lovely to see everyone getting into the spirit of things!

A special thank you to Paul and Deb, who stepped up to steward the meet and help make the weekend such a success. Your help is very much appreciated.

Saturday afternoon brought some glorious sunshine, giving us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors before the Halloween festivities got underway.

There was plenty of competition as teams A, B and C went head-to-head in our games, including Scattergories, a Halloween movie quotes quiz, a phobias recognition quiz and our brand-new What’s in the Bag challenge. Let’s just say the games brought plenty of laughs, a few surprises and some rather messy eggs! After some fierce competition, it was Team B who took the overall win. Well done!

Our pumpkin weight guessing competition produced an incredibly close result. With the actual weight coming in at 6,201g, Deb’s guess of 6,200g was almost spot on – just one gram out! That’s some impressive guessing.

And finally, our Plate on the Head challenge provided plenty of laughs, with Donna taking the honours!

All in all, a brilliant weekend of fun, laughter, good company and a little Halloween mischief.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable meet. We hope you all had as much fun as we did!
