🌭 Bank Holiday Sausage Sizzle – Whittington

Well, the weather tried its very best to put a dampener on our Bank Holiday weekend at Whittington… but NELDA wasn’t having any of it! 🌧️😂

With the rain coming down, we simply moved under the shelters, fired up the CADACS and got on with the important business of the weekend, sausages! 🌭

There was plenty of food, laughter and good company, with a huge thank you to Paul H, Paul M and Ste for their help with the food and cheffing duties. A special mention too for Deb and her delicious coleslaw, and Isabelle and Rob for keeping everyone supplied with some very welcome cakes. 🍰

Once everyone was suitably fed, it was time for some games, including the always competitive Battle of the Sexes.

And the result?

🏆 THE WOMEN WON! 🏆

We’re sure the men will be looking for a rematch… although they may need a little time to recover from the disappointment! 😉

Despite the weather, it was another great NELDA weekend, filled with good food, good fun and great company.
